In their collaborative work ANTHROPOSCENE, Kühn and Taffner investigate artificial ecosystems, agriculture, and the prepper scene. The exhibition space was transformed into an artificial biotope: cress sprouted in hardware-store soil, nourished by an emergency water supply. Controlled light, warmth, and humidity turned the room into an incubator.

In the adjoining space, television simulators projected flickering fields of colour, evoking the illusion of inhabitants – a protective tactic against burglary. Together with the surrounding houseplants, this staging produced the uncanny image of a dystopian disco.
